a lot of people would say that there's no zeppelin influence in corgan's music, but i think robert smith's evocation of tension and drama (like in Whole Lotta Love) influenced corgan's singing, but that's just me.

As for psychedelic sounding it pretty much starts and ends with Soundgarden. None of the other bands quite did that.
The Screaming Trees and Love Battery are probably the two best grunge bands with heavy psychedelic influences.
