This is why the more popular facet of the music scene in my city is garbage. The independent venues are going out of their way to book artists who are women (or trans or whatever) in order to be "inclusive" but what ends up happening is that every girl who wants to make a bunch of friends really easily looks up how to play a few chords and then mumbles into a microphone and everyone loses their mind as if it's the second coming. It breeds laziness and mediocrity.
