"no"
Klaha's Nostal Lab album always had a sort of N64-vibe to me, might be the synths used in it.

What "sound" did the N64 have anyway?
I'm thinking-
Jaunty GoldenEye/Perfect Dark-style "espionage" music
Highly whistle-able, sickly-sweet cartoon melodies from Banjo Kazooie, Mario 64, and Yoshi's Story.
Glorious instrumental F Zero X power metal anthems.
Orchestral epics in that ever-so heartwarming Ocarina of Time-style.
Whatever the fuck was in Majora's Mask - I believe they used whole-tone scales, which I found quite unnerving.
Let's not wax nostalgic about Donkey Kong 64's music. Donkey Kong 64's music was the biggiest video game music letdown of all time.
Anyone else care to chime in?

Thanks for the explanation. Shame you had to be a wanker about it.

Track 11 actually samples https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ruqn1Lnexs and it sounds good imo

N64 sounds like an improved sampling machine, an improvement over the SNES. All the other consoles at the time were using CD audio (although many games still used MIDI because all the space in the disc were used for FMVs).
I think this track from SM64 defines the N64 sound pretty well

Then there were companies like Konami that really worked the N64 sound to the fullest. The Goemon games are probably the ones with the best use of sampling in vidya

those flutes, those drums, that bass, that koto.
But Konami were always wizards of sampling ever since the SNES.
Also, while DK64's OST wasn't as memorable as the Country series, it still had some nice music:
