Just got these in the mail this week. Far left two are from Orchid Tapes other ten are from a lot on eBay

What's the appeal of cassettes?
Are people sitting there saying that "the tape allows more room and more free movement for the sound" or some shit like when people defend their oversized CDs?

tapes are rectangular instead of round so it's really a completely different listening experience and with tape you can actually cut the tape and record over parts you don't like so it's really like 10000000 songs in one. and you can fit a tape in your pocket unlike shitty ass CDs and vinylols

yea listening to cassettes in 2015 is fucking stupid in most cases, but a PICTURE of cassettes in 2015 - holy fuck, that's probably 10 thumbs up on Instagram at least.
