I have only seen one person wearing an Unknown Pleasures shirt, and it was some guy in his forties/fifties who was walking around on a tour around my university. You're right though, no one cares.
at my high school, some freshman girl always wears a joy division mtv shirt and i asked her what her favorite song is on the album. her response was "mtv aren't a band" there are literally 12 kids who own a joy division shirt. all fucking freshmen.
