It makes me feel strange listening to dickhead bands, but I still do it. Beck is a huge asshole in person, but I still wish I had his coked out creativity and production skills.
I don't understand how he picked up out of tune guitars, immediately strummed something catchy, recorded it on shit-tier garage microphones, and made fucking radio hit after radio hit. Then he couldn't play those songs exactly the same ever again, because he never had a guitar perfectly out of tune again. Then he picked up an in tune guitar and made even more hits.
Maybe it's because he's a kooky scientologist, and the rich people space alien gods blessed him with the power of music.
