You'll probably like Sigur Ros - Von, if you haven't already listened to it.

It's quite different to their other stuff. Not overwhelmingly similar to Kid A, but it gives the same kind of vibe (to me anyway)

Basically just /mu/core...other Radiohead, Bjork, basically anything /mu/ likes which is remotely electronic

In the interviews I read at the time, either Jonny or Thom talked about how Quartet for the End of Time by Olivier Messiaen was highly influential in creating Kid A. It's avant-classical, but it's both challenging and accessible and quite soothing, exhilarating and uplifting in parts. He wrote the composition while in a Nazi POW camp during WWII.

oval - wohnton
linkin park - a thousand suns
the notwist - neon golden
worlds end girlfriend - seven idiots
satanicpornocultshop - arkhaiomelisidonophunikheratos
divine styler - spiral walls containing autumns of light
liturgy - the ark work
john cale & terry riley - church of anthrax

i might be far off on some of those, but unusual all the same

Sweet trip - you will never know why
Not extremely similar, but a great album and underrated here and everywhere else
