when you download an album you're "leeching" it from the swarm. when you're "seeding" something others are downloading it from you. you get like 10 gb of free credit or something on a new account so you can download 10 gbs worth of music and keep it seeding and increase your ratio that way. or wait until a free leech so your ratio doesn't lower when you leech.
