I'm not quite seeing your point. That's more of a damning indictment of DG's audience if anything.

I don't like DG incidently.
>>
>>61413126
Urban outfitters also has Nick Drake.
Nick Drake is universally respected IMO.
>>
>>61414243
True. Everyone needs some UO music in their collection
>>
>>61413061
At least it has UK tracklist. But buying Beatles reissues should be a crime.

>>
>>61415050
been awhile\, but pre sure i got them from michaels craft store
>>

I fucking love the Fleet Foxes vinyl release. Finding Sun Giant inside was a delight.
>>
>>61414928
Why? No one uses mono gramophones anymore.
>>
>>61412033
People are still sore from low quality, early-mid 2000s digital files. There is nothing wrong with higher quality formats, and bumpin physical CDs is an even better method. Vinyl is just different, not better.

Also, fuck off tripfag
>>
so where do you guys actually buy your stuff? just online?

the only record store near me only has old bargain bin jazz/soul records which can be interesting but they're not what i'm looking for

I want to die
>>
>>61414859

Then come up with a way for artists to sell it without compromising quality or accessibility (this means it has to be digital) (oh wait what about CDs)
>>
>>61415499
Second hand from my local record store, online directly from the label or from Norman Records or Boomkat. They usually have everything I'd want.
>>
>>61415545
It's good to have physical media as it will always be there. I've bought a lot of stuff from Bleep and they always add the digital downloads to your account but who is to say Bleep will even exist in ten years time? Will I have access to my purchases?

Ghost does suck, but if your grandpa had that BOC album,he must be a damn cool grandpa.
>>

>>

Who the fuck buys a digital file and doesn't back it up AT LEAST once?
>>
>>61415712
Meliora

>>61415722
yeah he's pretty cool
>>
>>61415746
They come free with all the vinyl purchases I've made from Bleep. In most cases I've never downloaded them but they're convenient to have. But like I said, they might not always be there and not everyone backs up their shit in multiple locations.
>>
>>61415499
I second other anon, Norman Records is a great online source, but I either go to the nearby town that has a pretty good record store (about 40 minutes away) or I order new releases from Amazon/the label's website
>>
>>61415535
you got ziggy?
>>
Guys you think I should pick up the clear vinyl of bowies new album. I'm on the edge if I should or not
>>
>>61415730
Many percieve vinyl to have a superior sound because of the distorted bass frequencies, which causes the warmness. Digital doesn't have that; it is a more accurate reproduction of what was recorded. One is not clearly better. Read any literature on the subject and understand Vinyl's flawed audio is what makes it so popular.
>>
>>61416148

> distorted bass frequencies, which causes the warmness.

No you dumbass, the "warmth" is because of vinyl's more enhanced mid frequencies.

Is this pasta? I think I read this before.
>>
>>61416190
Nope, that is just not true.
>>
>>61416284

I agree, that pasta is full of bullshit.

>>61411964
Picked that up when it came out, wonderful pressing
>>
Any Europefags?
Where do you buy your vinyl? If you buy it new, it's extremely expensive, but I don't know where I can buy secondhand, every time I look for secondhand it's just hit compilations, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass and such.

Help pls?

>>61416408
I think discogs.com is your best bet.
