The Shins need to do that as well though. They released a few songs from a recent session, but not from the older one they did.

It sounds similar to the studio version, but improved in every possible way. The original sounded unsure in its phrasing, here the phrasing is a bit more confident, and in the way that it's been played a hundred times and perfected.
