Surprising how well it holds up listening to it again. It always sounds embarrassing in my head.
The drummer (Doug) was in some neat bands after this (that didn't sound anything like Codeine).
Other bands went on to do great slowcore, but I haven't heard anyone improve upon the style they created.

white birch is the essential slowcore album, no doubt about it. Every song is perfect.
