have u ever programmed a patch in max mate? and did it sound good? part of the process is generative, sure, but it hardly takes "no effort" - there's structuring that takes place - and it takes more time to suss it out than you think. there's no obvious programming language.

No ive never tried max/msp because im an actual musician and don't rely on chance and randomness. i mostly use hardware and if i use software its definitely not a generative one
