Hip-Hop producers, at best, are poor musicians and good music critics. They find a song that sounds good to them, not something they created, re-appropriate (steal) it, and turn it into "original music" by layering an amen break over top of it. The only skill involved is being able to quickly flip through bargain bins for music that hasn't already been re-appropriated (stolen) by a different "musician".

It does take skills, maybe skills you're not lurking for, okay. It's not trying to sound best and melodious, okay.
Let's assume hiphop artist don't really make their instrumental (which is wrong, and many rappers try to really make it good influenced by modern jazz, RnB and more) , it still takes skills to write, rhyme and make the words sound nice (and convert all that text into a nice intro-verse-chorus style)
