Saw those guys about a year ago. Not my favorite band in the world by any means but it's easily the best live show I've ever been to. I would recommend anyone who likes their music even a little to go see them live, only complaint was getting drenched in Sean's sweat because of how close I was to the stage.
After the show we hung around out back to have a cigarette with the band, they were all really chill down to earth dudes. Ben signed my sneakers.
Anybody who wants 15 minutes of fun as hell emo-styled indie kinda music that isn't total shit, this and their other album is where it's at. Just discovered it this month and haven't been able to stop listening to it since.
Whoever was the guy who shared this in 2013: Thanks man.

What are some more albums for this feel?
I honestly like this one better than Devil & God, mostly because I prefer the faster songs as opposed to the slow and mournful ones.
>>61342336
I heard The Devil and God first, then much later got into this and for ages loved it way more. But now in hindsight I think The Devil and God is the better album.
Though for me Me vs Maradona vs Elvis is their GOAT song.

Out of all the albums I've discovered via /mu/ this one's definitely my favorite. Elk is such a pretty song.

>for me Me vs Maradona vs Elvis is their GOAT song.
agree 100%
>>61342336
No matter how many times I listen to it I still like devil & god better
Great album

I still listen to this album but I really dislike all his other works, well not all, but this is his best
I'm not sure if this is even music anymore.
>>61342751
their I mean
>>61342633
its reused, recycled pavement. guided by voices mediocre
Why anyone talks about this? It's almost as good as Unwound and can do Slint songs better than Slint.
>>61342814
That album has barely anything in common with Pavement
>>61336019
Found this one in a thread a week or so ago; absolutely loved it

TTNG have always been a weird one for me. I can't say I like them at all but I can never figure out why.
Listened to a couple of albums and saw them support American Football but it's all just missing something.
The only way I can describe it is like it's music without heart or passion. I'm sure they put passion into it but I don't hear anything from the music itself, it's just like a bland noise no matter how mathy it is.
I get the appeal but it just doesn't click for me.

I fucking love Polvo. Check out pic related and Celebrate the New Dark Age.
