both are good albums

obviously ITAOTS wins on cohesiveness and consistency but OAI has several songs that are better than anything that appears on ITAOTS, both lyrically and instrumentally
if you take them both as collections of songs, OAI is quite a lot better imo, but obviously there is the overall cohesiveness of the album as a whole single entity to take into account, and in that department ITAOTS is pretty unmatched
so either one is a fair choice as far as i'm concerned
me personally i prefer OAI

April 8th is one of the most beautiful indie songs you'll ever hear!

OAI is the fuzzier, somehow even weirder younger brother to ITAOTS.

Both have pretty unique sounds to them

I had tickets to see NMH in October 2013 but I put down the wrong date on me calender and showed up a day late. Truly a musical blunder
