>>61288576

Yeah they're great.
I have most of their albums on vinyl.

I'm not sure why I'm seeing them so much on /mu/. They're okay but I think there are better and more notable acts out there. Listen to anything Trevor Horn produced.

It sound like you're just trying to be mean to a great band for no reason.

START OF THE BREAKDOWN
More like tears for queers
>>61289187
with you , i guess its an easily accessible group due to their mainstream success in the 80's.
I love them though they're still enjoyable and the production doesn't seem as dated as other acts, but there are also a lot of gems in the decade that don't get discussed as often.

They had a song called "The Working Hour" that was pretty great, but I don't think it was released as a single, so it's never on mainstream radio.
as far as 80s english synthpop bands go, they're not the best
New Order > Depeche Mode > Duran Duran > Tears for Fears > all the rest
the hurting is classic
songs from the big chair is overrated if im being completely honest with you shout head over heels and everybody wants to rule the world piss me off
>>61290019
Does Talk Talk count as synthpop?
>>61290087
yea i guess, i've only really listened to their last 2 albums so i never really regarded them as synthpop
Talk Talk as a synthpop band would probably be on par w/ Depeche Mode, then again I've never really delved into their earlier stuff
So fucking good, anyone who doesn't think tears for fears is amazing doesn't have a fucking heart
