Vulnicura was mediocre. Its succesful do to its accolades on paper only. What about Piteous Gate had you disappointed?

Vulnicura was great. It's so emotionally honest and it reflects that in both the vocals and instrumentation, the instrumentation is definitely her best yet too. Bork's masterpiece, IMO.
I haven't heard Piteous Gate since it was released in the summer, but I think my problem with it was that I would've liked it to flesh out it's industrial influences further. I didn't dislike it by any means, it was very well produced, just didn't strike me as something very special.

I dunno why you have EAI and glitch as subgenres of Musique Concrete, maybe you should have them all as subegenres of Avant-Garde.
Anyway, awful choices. I haven't heard Prants, Ryoko Akama / Bruno Duplany, Jason Kahn . Tim Olive, and fraufraulein, but the only good one there that I've heard is that Greek one.

Congrats on having Grim there though, even though I'm not sure why industrial is a subgenre of drone. And why avant-folk isn't a subgenre of folk...
Anyway, if you make a version of that chart that makes sense that'd be an awesome tool.

I liked A Doughnut's End! I listen to it every now and then when I'm really angry. It kind of absorbs my bad mood. The atrocity of it was the thing that made it interesting for me.

That remix is what made that was stand out to me aha. I haven't really relistened to any of them though, they really haven't been too special... It's a lot of fun to have a new one every month though.
