Do any albums exist with heavy uptempo shit on every track? Honestly, tracks 2 and 4 on this were a letdown for me. Not that I don't think of all the soloists as monsters, but I constantly crave small groups (drums, bass and horns) with a shit ton of tense energy that doesn't sacrifice structure like free jazz does. Rarely ever find it.

Haven't, but will check out. Never been a fan of Buddy or big bands despite playing in a few, even with Buddy's arrangements. Idk I get a cheesy vibe from him and the songs he plays despite how his soloing is intense af.

Yes. So far I've listened to Far Cry and Iron Man. Kinda hard to get through them because the harmonies are so harsh, but man, Left Alone destroys me and I love listening to his solo on Take The A Train with Mingus.
