Anyone else get new headphones for christmas?

I got Pioneer headphones, I know they're not top-of-the-line but my brother strongly recommended them and they weren't overly expensive (about 120 dollars I think, but obviously I wasn't the one who paid for them).

It was the gift I was most excited for and I LIKE them BUT holy shit that artificial bass can really fuck up certain genres. For stuff like hip-hop and any kind of bass-heavy electronic genre, they're fantastic. But if you want to listen to rock or pop or stuff like that they do not sound right.

yeah same, finding them quite uncomfortable tho, is it just cause I have large ears/head, or have you found the same? really bumming me out cause I can only listen to them for max 30 mins at a time before I have to take a break
