The beatles were conformist mainstream pop 50 fucking years ago, I really don't see how anyone can actually listen to them in 2015.
They have a couple of decent albums, but mostly it's fairly standard pop music. They never did anyhting which hadn't been done before. Sgt Pepper is a poor man's Sell Out, and Abbey Road is a poor man's Smile. They barely showed any growth as a band over their lifespan in comparison to most contemporaries.
