I know I'm choosing mainly females, but I really like the similar feel I get from their lyrics and guitar playing.

I've never quite found anything that I was into quite as much as Either/or. I have found a few that have a similar melancholy lo-fi sort of energy, but it just doesn't ever really match it.
I recommend Quasi.
They knew Elliott in real life and also they make music that really feels like nothing matters.
Their lyrics are existential in a very similar vein as the existential lyrics of 'ballad of big nothing.'
They need more recognition and they are vastly underrated and nobody ever talks about them on /mu/ but they should

a little slower and sparer and weirder than either/or, but still fantastic.
"All Your Women Things" is one of the only breakup songs that isn't unbearably corny to me.
