The songs seem stilted, forced, false, and ultimately, mostly unsatisfying. But that's just me talking. What do I care if two of the songs are complete rip-offs of "Smells Like Teen Spirit?" That's irony, right? Like The Knack? Hmm. It's an intriguing record, especially considering what Kurt did soon after its release, but it's not terribly consistent.
