please talk to each other about what music you listened to
please do not be boring
>>61191998
you give off an unintentionally creepy vibe
>>61192114
sorry about that
>>61191998
+woodie guthrie, wovenhand
there's not much on your chart that I know a lot about
>>61192114
what genre is your cubecore?
>>61192184
I love you please don't die
>>61192151
likewise!
I do like aube and hijokaidan
it's mostly noise?
>>61192151
One is a really sub par Djent album, another is a pretty great prog metal album, and the last one is a very good rock album. you can find out which ones
>>61192295
>it's mostly noise?
I'm assuming you're talking about my chart. yeah, it's all al least heavily noise related. I'm doing nothing but noise december
>>61192184
how?
>>61192338
>djent
>prog metal
>rock
those were my guesses
>>61192295
oh, and I'm glad you like aube, he's my single favorite noise artist
>>61191998
checking out wovenhand, sounds cool so far. listen to let go by fahey possibly
>>61192151
wolf eyes is pretty great
>>61192114
raw power is sick
check out testors
>>61192401
you have nice taste in country and folk, although I tend not to listen to the more classic sounding stuff like that very often
>>61192151
plz tell me which of these albums are your favorites. Consumer Electronics looks interesting.
>>61192184
Never listened to Burial, but it looks very lonely up there.
>>61192151
Could never get into Whitehouse. Never heard anything else on your chart.
>>61192114
Fiona Apple and Alanis Morissette are pretty good. Don't know anything else on there
>>61192376
oh ok, nice
do you find limiting yourself like that has some substantial effect on or your taste or anything? or is it just for fun?
>>61192400
I've only heard a little bit of his stuff, what's your favorite thing he's done?
>>61192401
wovenhand is kinda neat yeah, maybe a little too mopey in the vocals for me but I love the whole vibe
I'll definitely give that a go, fahey has such a huge discography, so I always appreciate a big glowing signpost like that to help me along
>>61192482
check out urinals I think you'll dig them
kinda stark artsy punk
>>61192482
continued I guess.
>>61192461
Nice Grimes, Arca, Zola and Cocteau Twins. I like you.
>>61192460
Nice Tricot. I like you even if I don't like Young Lean.
>>61192401
Nice bob Dylan. TPAB was kinda underwhelming for me. I don't get all the praise people give it for being unique and thought provoking. I mean I guess it is compared to most other albums as popular as it is, but still.

>>61192460
>grendel
holy shit I haven't seen that album cover in a while. that was my go-to workout album when I was in highschool
+grendel, massive attack
>>61192461
+icon of coil, chelsea wolfe's best album
>>61192461
>plz tell me which of these albums are your favorites. Consumer Electronics looks interesting.
consumer electronic - dollhouse songs is possibly my AOTY. the EP that came out before it, repetition reinforcement, is most certainly my EPOTY and I would argue the first track has the best vocal performance of philip best's career. also eric holm - andoya and aube - solid pressure are amazing.
>>61192482
+joanna newsom, open mike eagle, bauhaus
>>61192549
>do you find limiting yourself like that has some substantial effect on or your taste or anything? or is it just for fun?
I'm having a lot of fun with it but I do find that limiting myself like this (I also did NBBMN) forces me to explore further into genres that I enjoy but rarely think of reaching for when looking for the next album to put on.
>favorite thing aube's done
that's hard to say, imo he's fairly consistent and has quite a recognizable sound. but the first track off cardiac strain is my favorite single track of his although I think flare is a more interesting album.
>>61192591
+dvorak
>>61192552
>tpab
Yeah, dunno what my take on it is, didn't listen to it closely or finish it. Wesley's theory is sweet for sure though
>>61192698
Tap didn't recognize the cover of prescription: medicide..

>>61192833
I didn't listen to that one much, iirc the files were corrupted when I put them on my phone and I never got around to fixing it
>>61192855
