Any of you into eurorack synths? I want to get into it but i dont know where to start. I was thinking about buying something semi-modular like the mother 32 then adding modules to it but idk if I should buy individual modules instead. Any help or words of advice would be great thanks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5JHssUAxYQ

a good starter would be the following units:

>midi>CV/Gate
>2x VCO
>3x VCA
>2x Envelope
>2x Mixer/Router
>LFO
>Filter
>Output

some units might be a combination of these, so keep that in mind. if you've still got money after all of that, get a Rene.

What's the purpose of 3 VCAs?
>>
also, try using Modulargrid.net

honestly, you'll end up wanting more... once you start to increase the number of signal paths with a mixer/router/splitter, you'll want to be able to amplify them individually.
