I always thought In Utero was their best, but yeah def' give it a listen all memes aside. It packs a few great tracks and sounds far more idk.. amateur? than their other outputs. It's a 6/10 imo

It's actually good, but stay away if you like Nirvana for the big catchy pop choruses or if you're a Grohl fanboy. It has a darker atmosphere and more stripped down sound than their later stuff. It also probably has Kurt's best guitar playing on it (e.g. the solo from School is legit good), as well as some of his best screaming.
