/mu/core isn't about what's good, it's about what's popular on /mu/. right now, /mu/core hasn't changed in years, so it seems taboo to change it, so people only ever do it as a joke or with bias. this is an actual contender because it's seen a ridiculous surge in popularity recently, and it's been around here forever. and it doesn't get a lot of hate either.
