this album is good. it was a fucking bold move for a band that could have easily phoned it in and made the wilco [the album] again. It's fun, concise, and totally different from anything they'd done before (or anything i've heard this year). Favorite tracks: Cold Slope, King of You, Random Name Generator.

Worst part of the album was when Han Solo's son killed him.

I loved it.

This album both got me into Wilco (yes, i listened to YHF before. this was more immediate), and managed to fill the GBV-shaped hole in my heart.
