Sounds like me this whole year sans the part about killing yourself. I felt like she was the only one who really "understood" me, so going back to a life of having to put on a mask and interact with people who seemed to only like/care about who I was on the outside, friends and family included, was one of the most crippling things I've experienced.

Me and my Oneitis were almost a thing before I left for basic training. I've been gone for nearly 10 months and now I'm back home. I tried to get in contact with her but she ignored me for the longest time. Then she started talking to me again when I got back home. I was so excited to see her. She started ignoring me again. I got drunk and called her, she said she didn't even know who I am when I told her I was me. I've been drunk ever since that happened. SOmetimes I'll message her when I'm drunk, other times I'll just look at her pictures and tear up. I've accomplished so much in the last year, I got /fit/, dropped 30 lbs, made it through training, got into college, etc. But that's the point if I can't even win her heart.
I blocked her on facebook last night when she told me she hated me when I called her. I feel so dead inside.

So i generally like his stuff a bit more - not anything against Syu, since he's an incredibly skilled guitarist, but yeah. The lyrics booklets (and in this case the m-a page for the album) list who gets writing and lyric credit for each song, I don't blame you for not knowing.

Long time ago, at least 10 years ago, I borrowed a CD from a friend.
It was from some metal magazine, among other music, it contained Luca Turilli - I'm alive.
This was the first time I've heard about them.
On this CD, there was a mix of other similar music and I'd very much like to re-discover it to get the song list.
CD was purple, with aggresive yellow font on it.
Apart from that and the fact that I'm Alive was 3rd track on it, I can't recall any significant details.

I only listene dto the first 2 minutes of this but I dont think its debatable that the pt song is more complicated. However this Kronos song at the 90 second mark has a very signature style of which I cant deny the appeal. Is that part a highlight for you? I'm actually into the 3 minute mark and pt is without question more complicated. Its possible you're missing some of the stuff he's doing and it just sounds sort of like white noise. Here's the thing about Marilyn. The man had some serious pipes. He had a 4 octave range and he excelled in any octave. He wrote brilliant songs. And his stage presence was only matched by Adolf Hitler. Seriously, watch them play Antichrist Superstar at Big Day Out and then watch a video of the Nuremburg rallies. We had better thank our lucky stars Marilyn didn't go into politics or he would have taken over the world. But Manson as a whole had a brilliant dynamic. It wasn't just the Marilyn Manson backup band. They all made huge creative contributions to what made Manson what it is. Yes, Marilyn wrote Minute of Decay, GodEatGod, and Obsequey (The Death of Art), but Twiggy Ramirez wrote The Beautiful People, The Dope Show, and Lamb of God, Madonna Wayne Gacy wrote Cryptorchid, Fundamentally Loathsome, and Thaeter, and John 5 wrote The Fight Song, A Place in the Dirt, and The Bright Young Things. Other bands like Nine Inch Nails for instance were not like that. NIN was basically just the Trent Reznor backup band. Marilyn Manson was this perfect storm of legendary talent, and Marilyn was the face of it all, the delicious cherry on top of an already delicious sundae. He was the ambassador that allowed the amazing talent of combo that was Manson to be brought into our lives. He was the prism that focused the lazer beams from the brains of Ramirez, Gacy, and 5, and amplified them until they were powerful enough to blow our minds out through our ear holes. Yes, he was the most incredible front man who ever lived, hands down.
