Is Urban Hymns the best britpop album?
It's not even the verves best album try a storm in heaven or a northern soul
I never did get the connection between stuff like madchester and primal scream being a setup for brit pop.
I mean britpop was guitar pop while that stuff was electronic music fusing withe rock.
My best guess has to do with setting up a british indie scene across the country.
Also this album is underrated compared to XTRMNTR and Screamadelica.
