They're not witch house, but a lot of elements of their sound (female vocals, trashy image, aggressive, dark, electronic sound) are really commonplace in a lot witch house acts, although Alice's vocals are definitely a lot more abrasive than what you'd hear. I'd say they're a lot closer to early 2000s electroclash stuff like Peaches or Fischerspooner, but they usually get brought up in witch house threads and the comparison definitely holds somewhat. That being said, Purity Ring and even some of Grimes' early stuff is definitely the closest thing to "mainstream" the genre has gotten.
