Honestly though I love all these albums except A Sun Came, I love the Christmas albums too but didn't want to count them

Does anyone else find Carrie and Lowell to just be absolutely beautiful? It's far and away my favorite album of the year, and probably my favorite Sufjan album currently.

I just love it. I think it's his best work. The ending to Blue Bucket of Gold is maybe somewhat questionable, but arguably fitting I guess

People say it's got a weak back half, The Only Thing, No Shade in the Shadow and Eugene are my favorite tracks though, so who knows

The album seems to blend together. I really don't think that any of the songs are amazing on their own but together, GODDAMN ARE THEY AMAZING.
