I need your help. Is anyone here into early 60's pop-music? I need it for one project. Ideally I need no-names, preferably from year 1962. Thanks in advance.

Do you think it's kinda sad that your first instinct was to ask on 4chan rather than just google it?
>>61121231
sorry I don't have any suggestions, but may I ask why?
Sounds kind of interesting

There's a compilation of a bunch of nonames from the 60's I believe called "nuggets, artyfacts from the psychedelic era" or something like that.
You might start with that

I dunno man this could be a good thread
>>61121266
Well, don't think that there is something bad in being illiterate about early 60's noname pop-music bands.

check out some of the stuff produced by Phil Spector, iirc there's a comp on the archives called the Spector Sound or somehing
>>61121287
The problem is, it is not psychedelic music I'm looking for. The example of what I roughly need is "Roser are red" by Bobby Vinton.

It is for videogame soundtrack.

Try Caterina Valente. Not necessarily a nobody but that might be in the ballpark.
Not much I can really contribute but lurking

OP here.
Thanks for the Phil Spector link. It was very helpful.Caterina Valente is too famous unfortunately, I might have copyright issues.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be pretty famous as well. So it would not fit either, unfortunately. Any other suggestions?

So are you looking for non copyrighted stuff? Is that the deal? Or just stuff that's hard to track? Are you a DJ? If it's from the UK, you can use anything from '62 and before if it hasn't been renewed.
