which albums are most stereotypical for their respective decades?
it doesn't have to be necessarily good, well-known, or defining, just stereotypical. You hear it and think "this is the most [decade] album I've ever heard"
for example I think this is the most stereotypically 60s album. Everything in it screams the 1960s.
as a bonus, what are the albums that are most like this for a decade that they weren't made in?

Maybe you should change "decade" to "era" or "genre" or something like that. Psychedelic rock only represents like 3 years in the 60s. It probably had more years of popularity in the 70s.

I Won't Hurt You is the best song of the 1960s, pham

Olivia Tremor Control - Black Foliage is the most 60s album, but it's from 15 years ago
Ace of base most 90's easily
This for sure. You can't get much more 70s than this.

That's like art-rock shit. Not really sunshiney.
