I enjoy retrowave a lot. It's not having shit taste because the only shit is modern music but it can be embarrassing just for being so niche. I also really enjoy surf rock and rockabilly.
Then there's the hard rock and metal part but that probably falls more on the edgy side than on the plain embarrassing side, specially for brutal death metal, black metal and drone metal.

I thoroughly enjoy Arctic Monkeys and think that AM is a good album.
Surfer Rosa is a perfect album up until Tony's Theme, where it totally drops off into near mediocrity.
I almost cried in the street while listening to Joanna Newsom's Emily.
For some reason, while Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer is a good record, Cato As A Pun is MILES above every other song on the record to the point where it ruins the album. I mean, it's SO good, and the other songs just fall flat after it. It starts off so nice with Suffer For Fashion and that little filler thing, then Cato As A Pun blows the whole thing wide open, and after that it's just underwhelming.
