I once downloaded a whole album because the links to the mp3 files were on the source code of the site lel. Not the best quality but whatev.

There was a great video of Ian MacKaye talking about amateur artists who feel as if they're entitled to have people support their music by buying their stuff. I can't find it on YT at the moment but the gist of what he was saying was "get a fucking day job".
