Historically because of girls. They liked Paul and then became young moms and taught their kids about The Beatles and the wonders of Paul, but kids being kids with that particular blend of savvy and lunacy typically said nah, Ma, I likes Ringo. But that was 40, 50 years ago, it's not true today.
