I only know a handful of tracks by Gorillaz but you might try some old alt rap like Deltron 3030 or Vaudeville Villain, if you like hip-hop (which I would assume you do if you like Gorillaz' hip-hop influenced pop rock)

I know Deltron, might check Vaudeville, thanks. Still, what I really like abut Damon Days isn't the hip hop parts, i'm more about the rest.
