Best album I've heard all year. Saw them live twice on this tour, they were incredible both times. Met Gira too.
Can't wait for the new album.
The Declining Winter - Home for Lost Souls was really good too, the Neon Indian album was okay, Umfang - OK is really good, and a few other albums I'm too tired to think of.

TPAB was good, but not my favourite album this year. Some tracks I loved, but not all.
Earl's album was a solid dark listen for me. I enjoyed it but I couldnt really say it is objectively better than TPAB
It just is more concise and digestible for me, Thus I listened to it more.
I feel like I'll get more into Black Wing is doomed later.

The opener is definitely among the top songs of 2015. The rest of the album, except for maybe a a few more tracks, is kinda bland. The production is too clean, and it would have been more interesting if they allowed for more instrumental experimentation.
Shame though, the album has a lot of potential and the vocals are p good.
