I feel that if you're using a DAW another track in the mix wouldn't hurt. maybe some gentle strings supporting the harmonic structure in the background, just to break up the sparseness and help it sound a little thicker. That being said it holds up fucking well for just voice and piano

This is great, very beautiful. Right up my alley, and with a nice pace and structure. The faults with it? The piano that comes in sounds a bit tinny/fake, and that's slightly off putting, especially as it's at the forefront of the mix. Could also be shaken up by exploring more interesting forms of instrumentation and percussion.
