I feel so bad for yuropoors. America hasn't even set the bar that high, and they're still so insecure and spiteful knowing that they'll never reach it.
Out society (US) simply does not respect artists. Even when they "make it", there are entire industries dedicated to knocking them down if they make a mistake.
But the positive aspect of this, is that US musician are general in it for life. You really feel that they mean it. That they need it. It's sad and desperate and awe inspiring all at once.
