I didn't really change the opinion. I had some knowledge on the Nile. Apparently, I forgot about their early albums. It seems that they were really good in their early years, while I mostly listened to their mid-years. At some point, Nile became a very meandering band. They played a riff that was going nowhere.
I will however, listen AGAIN to their early stuff, because obviously, I missed something, and I think that people love Nile because of their early stuff. It really had some magic. That's it from me.

just tried to listen to pic related for the first time because I love Svartidauði and people seem to think they're similar to DsO. what the fuck? i made it halfway through Abscission and didn't want to hear any more. am i missing something? sounds like uninspired wank over aimless songwriting to me. and i love dissonant, atonal shit like noise, noise rock, no wave, whatever. why is this so highly rated?
