Bluetooth would take half a day to transfer a full album of 320kbps mp3's. It's not meant for transferring large quantities of data.

The theoretical max of BT 4.0 is 24 Mbps, but that's using the BT protocol, that's using BT to establish an 802.11 p2p link (that data transfer takes place over wifi, IOW). The max transfer rate using pure BT is something like 5 Mbps. So while it's an exaggeration to say it would take half a day, using BT for large data transfers is a fool's errand - even 802.11g wifi from 10 years ago is 2x faster.
