There's probably a fair bit of noise rock and metal bands that have taken cues from modern Swans, but I am not well-versed enough in those styles to think of some examples right now.

They're both very dependent upon schizophrenia/psychedelic use in terms of their songwriting.
Both SCG and Swans borrow a lot from Tibetan music as well.
