Until we have learned to ignore the pleb-patrician meme which has fucked this board into the ground for a long time now, people will preface any post involving their tastes or preferences with "pleb here", "inb4 pleb", etc. The key is to learn to ignore anyone who takes the pleb/patrician thing seriously and then pretend like it doesn't exist until you use it in an ironic and/or comedic way.
>>60928128
Even with the cushions like this they're some of the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned. I feel like they're way overpriced in terms of quality, although someone owned this pair before I got them so I can't know if they were abused or damaged at any point.
>>
love 'em
>>
Sorry to doublepost but does anyone know of a good set of over/around ears that can use any 3.5mm male to male cable? I used to have some v moda crossfade lp's and I still have the kevlar wrapped cables they came with, super rugged and I miss using them but don't want to buy another pair of v modas because they're obnoxious looking and the bass is sort of blown out
>>
>>60927737
i have a big ass head and the headband doesn't extend far enough, they also get kinda hot, I gave them to my brother and he says that they are really comfortable for him so I guess it's just me.

>>
>>60933456
Can someone please answer this? I'm curious too because I'm working on an album.
>>
>>60933642
They're actually not that bad, according to this graph. It's a frequency response graph of the dna. Very similar to the m50x actually, but I wonder how comfy they are since they're on ears
>>
>>60934113
I got my pair for $60 during a grand reopening sale. Fucking incredible headphones for the price I got them at.
>>
>>60934170
They probably did not focus on comfort at all, horribly painful after about 15 minutes of use. Although loosen up the headband a bit and they're okay

Also my bumping my original question, which is better, V6 or 7506?
>>
>>60934164
Cheapest one or alternatively the color you like more (blue stripe vs red stripe) the m7056 came out to replace the v6 but I guess they still manufacture them. Very similar headphones
>>
>>60934270
Much appreciated!
>>
>>60934270
any specific differences you can list or are they pretty much the same? I want the ones with better and more pronounced bass, I've read different things about the two. Some say the v6 has better bass and others state that they're exactly the same. Personally I like the looks of the 7506 more and the 7506 is cheaper than the v6 on Amazon
>>
I'm looking to buy a nice pair of headphones for myself for Christmas. The problem is that I'm on a budget of about 50 bucks. Someone recommend me a nice pair for this price range?
>>
>>60934354
sony mdr-xd200. underpriced as fuck, only $20. the problem is that it's a discontinued product, fairly hard to find
>>
>>60934339
Neither have perfect bass extension, maybe it's the cheap pads, but others have complained that replacing with after market ruins the sound. I think when the v6 came out it used a samarium - cobalt magnet, the 7056 had a neodymium magnet. Now both are advertised as using a neodymium magnet so they might just be the same
>>
>>60934421
Thanks for your help, probably going with the 7506. Can you recommend a good amp, if one is necessary?
>>
>>60934486
No amp nessesary for these. They're very sensitive headphones. I don't think there's a modern onboard solution that couldn't power them
>>
