Nouns comes to mind, a darling of /mu/ although they deserve it. Cloud Nothings latest was also an indie crowd favorite. Try Toe if you want something more second-wave mathy. All those bands are pretty well known.

Rec me something that is Summoning synths + Weakling guitars. Fanisk, I Shalt Become, and Bal-Sagoth are the closest I've found so far, but none of them capture exactly what I'd looking for.

Also looking for harsh noise, black metal, and other abrasive, instrumentally focused music with excellent lyrics. Prurient and Walknut are two examples.

I like 60s-70s rock

bands like pink floyd, led zeppelin, king crimson

but i also like jazzy tunes, like the Bitches Brew album.

So Is there anything that combines these kinds in a beautiful way?
old or new stuff, I don't care. I would like to hear something "modern" that combines jazz and rock. complex rythms, guitar solos...

I would be very grateful anons.

Check out CHON, especially their demo if you want more of a prog metal thing. Proggy math rock/jazzy shit.

Giraffes! if you haven't already, and on the metal/prog side of things you might like Gojira's From Mars To Sirius. you might enjoy Stars of the Lid - their music is similarly slow and flowing and bleak/hopeful, though they use acoustic instruments instead of electronic (though that shouldn't make much of a difference, it has the same ambiguous feel)
also it was Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman) who produced those outros, so maybe check out other stuff he's made/produced?

Steve Reich is a big influence on Sufjan and the ambient outros on C&L are the more reminiscent of his work. Check, of course, Music for 18 Musicians.

>>60893803
Now that we're into Sufjan, you should check out his tracks in unusual time signatures. They're all done in great taste, unlike contemporaries working in the "prog" realm.
