Most overrated album of the year, easily. This has been a tremendous year for folk music too, but Sufjan is so boring as a folk artist. He needs to go back to the Age of Adz territory. By far the best music he's ever made.

Its not aoty but you make a good point. Mixing really shows it wasnt handled professionally but i got the email he said he spent like two years fine tuning the details its pretty cool that more and more rap artists are handling their own music like Earl and Tyler. Its respectable. Didnt love the album but I get what he was trying to do witht he whole "puberty concept album" thing and I am excited for his next release. Still, as I said, not AOTY. The flaws were too noticable.
