Rush of Blood is pretty much the pleb choice, every other Coldplay record (not counting the last 3 ofc) is a lot better than Rush as a whole.
My favorites are the releases from the Viva la Vida era, especially Prospekt's March, which revealed that Coldplay were always capable of making "genuine" pop music.
