Has music changed your life?
back when i originally thought it changed my life? nah
nowadays, after salvaging countless rym lists? yea maybe
I guess. I was a pretty uncultured swine until I found music, which somehow let me into an interest for films and books and a sudden disinterest in video games.
Nice rare bork pic btw

It helped me find a productive way to indulge in some catharsis

My trip is fucking banned because I posted that stupid ass elf dude in that stupid ass /soc/ thread
yeah to the extent I'm probably hooked on it and using it for escape while neglecting more important things
liking certain music made a couple of my biggest crushes think I was cool
it's had a pretty substantial effect on me, albeit indirectly if that makes sense

Hell hath no fury like a mod tired of shitposting
Seriously though, sorry about that
Profoundly. It gives me a creative outlet, a chance to explore, a hobby, and a fetish all rapped into one. I really don't know who I would have been without it, but I bet I would've been far more boring.

Why are you sorry you're not the one who banned me
>>60845313
Was just saying it more in sympathy than in apology
>>60845302
This is basically true for me as well
Seeing as art is inherently self-indulgent it's amazing as an outlet for emotions and ideas
Music taught me empathy. Music taught me how to express myself as an emotionally stunted young man, and I'm grateful as fuck
It helped me to become more of a pretentious twat, thus alienating everyone around me, so yes.

I oddly find myself less interested in vidya the more i get into music.
>>60845463
same . Luckily, being into music over vidya has mostly all positives .
>>60845375
Thats not music thats just your awful shitty toxic personality
>>60845515
Shut up faggot I bet you still listen to music "for the words"
>>60845558
Shut up faggot I bet you still listen to music "for the sounds"
It helped shape me as a person, and alter/form beliefs about the world I wouldn't have formulated otherwise. I was afraid to experiment with myself until I discovered Arca, and since then have completely changed as a person. I used to be shy and lazy but now I'm super productive, feminine, and I'm getting a better grip on my anger and sexuality as well.
It really does shape you, especially if you look into the artist that interests you.
Sorry for the sentimentalism I just love discussing shit like this
Life changed my music

Music is a far better way to spend time to be honest. I don't even mean that in an "oh games are for kids lol" kind of way. But I know far too many gamers where that's all they fucking do.
Yes, I became a musician.
Now I have a Marshall stack next to my TV stand.
