i really like it, man. the way pinker constructs his argument is very easy to digest. i'm thinking of going into spanish linguistics and teaching overseas and reading this book has certainly had an influence on that lol. there's still time for me to change my mind like a million more times but it's cool stuff regardless
boilermaker is interesting because they're sorta twinkly and mid-west emo at times and more post hardcore at other times, but all their records are good. i recommend in wallace's shadow to start. im pretty confident you'd like them
