lonerism isn't amazing but it's undoubtedly decent.

It's actually probably more interesting than it was influential. It influenced Sgt. Pepper, which actually did have significant influence on the scene, so at best it was second hand influential compared to SP. PS is definitely smarter than Lonerism though. Lonerism is more fun but you'll probably get sick of it faster.
